Prime Minister Imran Khan said Friday Senate Chairperson Sadiq Sanjrani surviving the no-confidence motion against him showed the trust reposed in his leadership abilities to run the house effectively.
PM Imran met Sanjrani earlier in the day here at the PM Office and congratulated him on retaining his position.
Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Leader of the House in the Senate, Shibli Faraz, and Senator Barrister Muhammad Ali Khan Saif were also present during the meeting.
The premier expressed confidence that Sanjrani would continue his role of running the house in the best manner.
